Motion capture
What is "motion capture"?
Motion capture, often abbreviated as mocap, is a technology used to record the movements of people or objects and translate them into digital models. During a motion capture session, actors or objects wear special suits or markers that track their movements using cameras or sensors. The recorded data is then used to create realistic animations for films, video games, or virtual simulations. Motion capture helps create lifelike and fluid motion in digital characters or environments, making the animations more realistic and engaging.
