Go-motion
01
a variation of stop-motion animation that adds motion blur to the figures being animated, creating a more realistic and fluid movement
What is "go-motion"?
Go-motion is an animation technique that enhances stop-motion by incorporating slight movement of the models or sets between frames. Unlike traditional stop-motion, where objects remain static between exposures, go-motion introduces motion blur to each frame by moving the models or camera slightly. This results in smoother and more realistic motion, as the blur simulates the effects of real-world movement. Go-motion was developed to improve the fluidity and realism of animated sequences, often used in special effects and fantasy films.
