What is a "muriqui"?

The muriqui, or woolly spider monkey, is a large primate with a distinctive appearance. They have a long prehensile tail that they use for maneuvering through the trees, and their fur is thick and woolly. Muriquis are known for their social behavior, often living in large groups and engaging in cooperative activities. Sadly, they are also critically endangered due to habitat loss and fragmentation, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
