What is the "three-card trick"?
The three-card trick is a classic street game and magic trick that involves a dealer showing three playing cards, one of which is different from the others. The dealer quickly shuffles the cards, often using sleight of hand to make the movements appear simple but deceptive. The challenge for the spectator is to follow the different card and correctly identify it after the shuffle. Although it appears to be a simple game of observation, the dealer uses various sleight-of-hand techniques to ensure that the spectator cannot win.
