Filmstrip
What is a "filmstrip"?
A filmstrip is a length of film that contains a series of individual frames or images arranged sequentially. Each frame represents a single still picture, and when the filmstrip is projected or played rapidly, these images create the illusion of motion, similar to a movie or animation. Filmstrips were traditionally used in filmmaking and photography to record and display visual content. They can be found in various formats and were commonly used before digital technology became widespread.
