What is "teleportation"?

Teleportation is a concept where an object or person is instantly transported from one location to another without physically traveling the space in between. This means that the matter is not moved through the space but rather appears to instantly switch from one place to another. In fiction and theoretical discussions, this ability is often portrayed as a form of immediate travel or movement, where the person or object vanishes from the starting point and reappears at the destination in a split second, seemingly bypassing the physical journey.
