What is a "screech owl"?
A screech owl is a small owl species found in various habitats across North and South America. Known for its distinctive vocalizations, the screech owl derives its name from its piercing calls that resemble high-pitched screeches. It has excellent camouflage, with plumage that can range from gray to reddish-brown or even yellow, allowing it to blend seamlessly into its surroundings.
