What is a "psychosomatic disorder"?
A psychosomatic disorder is a condition where physical symptoms are caused or worsened by psychological factors such as stress, anxiety, trauma, or emotional distress. Examples of psychosomatic disorders include tension headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, and chronic pain syndromes.
