What is a "brake light"?
A brake light is a red light on the back of a vehicle that turns on when the driver presses the brake pedal. It alerts other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down or stopping, helping to prevent accidents. Brake lights are usually brighter than regular tail lights to make them more noticeable. Most vehicles have at least two brake lights, one on each side at the rear. These lights are crucial for road safety, especially in low-visibility conditions like at night or during bad weather.
