What is a "frontside air"?
A frontside air is a snowboarding or skateboarding trick in which a rider launches off a jump or ramp and spins their body so the front faces forward while airborne. The snowboarder grabs the edge of the board with one hand, usually between the front and back foot, to add style and maintain control during the trick. It is a very popular freestyle trick in snowboarding and skateboarding, performed mostly in curved ramps or on jumps. To land it, riders must have their balance and timing right and move with accuracy to execute it smoothly.
