It is a very strong hand, ranked above a flush and below a royal flush in poker hand rankings. If two players have a straight flush, the one with the highest top card wins. A straight flush is rare, and if it includes the ten, jack, queen, king, and ace of the same suit, it becomes a royal flush, the highest hand in poker.
