What is a "bushbaby"?

Bushbabies, also known as galagos, are small primates found in Africa. They are known for their large, round eyes, which are adapted for excellent night vision, making them well-suited for their arboreal, nocturnal lifestyle. Bushbabies have soft, dense fur that comes in various colors, including shades of grey, brown, and cream. Bushbabies are known for their leaping ability, which allows them to cover long distances between trees in search of food, such as insects, fruit, and tree gum. They have a distinctive appearance with their large ears and long tails, which they use for balance while navigating their forest habitats. Bushbabies are solitary or live in small family groups, and communicate with a variety of vocalizations, including calls and songs. They have a unique ability to fold their ears back and close their eyes to protect them from bright light during the day.
