A Botts' dot is a small, raised marker placed on the surface of roads to help drivers stay within their lanes. These markers are typically made of plastic and have reflective surfaces to make them visible at night or in low-light conditions. Botts' dots are usually arranged in rows along the centerline or lane markings of highways and roads.
