What is "kimbap"?
Kimbap is a popular Korean dish that features a sushi-like roll made from steamed white rice and various fillings such as vegetables, eggs, meat, and seafood, all wrapped in sheets of dried seaweed. The fillings are typically seasoned with a blend of sauces and spices such as soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic, which gives them a savory and flavorful taste. Kimbap can be customized to suit different tastes and dietary preferences, and can be made with a variety of ingredients such as carrots, spinach, cucumber, beef, crab meat, and tuna. The roll is typically sliced into bite-sized pieces and is often served with soy sauce or a spicy dipping sauce made from gochujang, which is a fermented red chili paste. Kimbap is a popular snack and is often eaten on-the-go or as a light meal.
