The prompt corner is a designated area at the side of a theater stage where the prompter or stage manager sits during a performance. From this position, they can give cues to actors and manage technical elements like lighting and sound. The prompt corner is usually located out of the audience's view, often to the left or right of the stage, and serves as the control point for ensuring that the performance runs smoothly.
