Reversi is a two-player board game played on an 8x8 grid. Each player uses discs that are black on one side and white on the other. Players take turns placing a disc on the board with their color facing up. A valid move must trap one or more of the opponent's discs in a straight line, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. All trapped discs are flipped to the player’s color. The game continues until no more moves are possible, and the winner is the player with the most discs of their color on the board. Reversi combines simple rules with strategic depth.
