They are known for their distinctive appearance, with a slender body, long legs, and a short tail. Tibetan antelopes have a dense coat of woolly fur that is adapted to withstand the extreme cold temperatures of their habitat, and their fur is usually beige to light brown in color. They have a unique feature of large, curved horns in males that can grow up to 60 cm in length, while females have shorter and straighter horns. Tibetan antelopes are herbivorous, feeding on various grasses and other plants found in the high-altitude plateaus.
