What is "clout archery"?
Clout archery is a type of archery where archers shoot arrows at a distant target, typically a flag or marker, placed at a long range. The target is usually set on the ground, and the goal is to land the arrow as close as possible to the target, often from distances of 130 to 200 yards or more. Unlike other forms of archery, clout archery emphasizes shooting arrows at a high curve, as the path the arrow follows is a key factor in hitting the target.
