What is a "torpedo level"?
A torpedo level is a small, compact level tool used to check if a surface is perfectly horizontal or vertical in tight spaces. It is shaped like a small torpedo or rectangular prism and typically has one or two bubble vials, with one often set at a 90-degree angle to measure vertical surfaces. Many torpedo levels also have a vial set at a 45-degree angle, allowing for easy measurement of diagonal surfaces. Torpedo levels are commonly used in tasks like plumbing, electrical work, or installing appliances, where precision is needed but space is limited. Despite its size, it provides accurate measurements similar to larger levels.
