What is "short wave"?

Short wave refers to a type of radio signal with a high frequency range, typically between 3 MHz and 30 MHz. These signals have shorter wavelengths and can travel long distances by bouncing off the Earth's atmosphere, allowing them to reach different parts of the world. Short wave is commonly used for international radio broadcasts, communication with remote areas, and some amateur radio activities.
