What is a "royal flush"?
A royal flush is the highest possible hand in poker. It consists of five consecutive cards of the same suit: ten, jack, queen, king, and ace. For example, a royal flush in hearts would be ten of hearts, jack of hearts, queen of hearts, king of hearts, and ace of hearts. It is unbeatable in most poker games, ranking above all other hands, including a straight flush. Since it is very rare, a royal flush is considered an exceptional hand and is often a game-changing moment when it occurs.
