Posterior chamber
What is "posterior chamber"?
The posterior chamber is a small, fluid-filled compartment situated between the iris and the lens in the eye. It contains a clear, watery fluid called aqueous humor, which helps nourish and maintain the health of the surrounding structures, as well as contributes to the intraocular pressure. The posterior chamber also serves as a pathway for the circulation of nutrients and waste products within the eye.
