Big blind

빅 블라인드, 의무 베팅
a mandatory bet made by the player sitting two seats to the left of the dealer
What is the "big blind"?
The big blind is a forced bet that is placed by the player sitting two seats to the left of the dealer in games like Texas hold 'em and Omaha. It is typically double the size of the small blind, which is placed by the player immediately to the left of the dealer. The big blind ensures that there is always money in the pot at the start of each hand and that players are encouraged to participate. After the blinds are posted, each player is dealt their cards, and the betting round begins with the player to the left of the big blind.
Example
If no one raises, the big blind can choose to check or fold.
In some poker games, the big blind can be increased after a certain number of hands to keep the game moving.
After posting the small blind, Sarah was next in line to pay the big blind.
