What is "fragile X syndrome"?
Fragile X syndrome is a genetic condition that causes a range of developmental problems, including learning and intellectual disabilities. Fragile X syndrome is typically characterized by delayed speech and language development, social and behavioral challenges, and certain physical features such as a long face and large ears.
