What is "ambrosia"?
Ambrosia is a type of fruit salad that is typically made with a combination of fresh or canned fruits such as oranges, pineapples, grapes, coconut, and maraschino cherries. The fruits are usually cut into bite-sized pieces and combined with whipped cream or sour cream to create a creamy texture. Sometimes, chopped nuts or marshmallows are added for additional texture and flavor.
