What is a "toeside turn"?
A toeside turn is a skiing or snowboarding maneuver in which the skier or boarder applies their weight onto their toes, causing the inside edges of the skis or board to dig into the snow inside the turn. A toeside turn is made when the skier's direction is slightly downhill, and they use the front of their body to steer themselves into the turn.
